Redbridge Cardiology transfer from PML to Omnes

As you may be aware, the Redbridge Cardiology diagnostics services (as listed in table below), which is currently being provided by Physiological Measurements (PML) will be ending on  31 July 2021. Omnes Healthcare Ltd who is our current Cardiology diagnostic provider in North East London (including Barking & Dagenham and Havering) have taken on the contract and will be delivering the service from the 1 August 2021. Please be assured that Omnes will be providing same tests and exactly the same service as before. 

PML are going to continue to accept referrals until 18 July 2021 and will see as many as patients possible before 31 of July that have already been referred to them prior to the end of their service. The remaining patients will be transferred to Omnes and PML will send a letter notifying the referring GP. 

Omnes Healthcare will start to accept referral from 19 July 2021, with clinics due to then be scheduled from August 2021 working to the 6 week national diagnostic target. 

The following cardio-diagnostics tests will be delivered by Omnes Healthcare:

  • 12 lead ECG
  • Echocardiograms
  • 24 hour ECG (Holter)
  • 24 hour Blood Pressure

You can find Omnes Healthcare clinics on eRS as follows. Please also use the referral form to refer into the service.

Please refer to Omnes via eRS, which is the most efficient and effective method of referral to the service. If you experience any difficulties making a referral via eRS then please send the referral form to their central email address

Where will the service be delivered?

Omnes Healthcare aim to launch the service at the following Redbridge locations:

  • Southdene Surgery (Redbridge)
  • Hainault Health Centre (Redbridge) 

We will review the referral activity and may add other sites within Redbridge to facilitate more clinics and shorter travel time.
