The Diabetes UK Clinical Champions programme is a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals to develop their personal leadership style and to learn new skills, which will help them to deliver a project to improve care in their area. This project will focus on an area of improvement that the Clinical Champion has identified as a pressing issue in their locality.

New LOW COST one day ‘Primary Care Course’ at ExCeL (London) on Friday 16 March 2018: alongside the 2018 Diabetes UK Professionals Conference (DUKPC) this year, Diabetes UK will be delivering their first ‘Primary Care Course’, aimed at primary care healthcare professionals who would like to develop the skills needed to support patients with diabetes.
This day long course is designed around our Information Prescriptions and aims to increase knowledge, awareness and confidence in treating patients with diabetes. To help facilitate attendance, the course has been heavily subsided by Diabetes UK and costs £25 (plus VAT).
