We have added an extra training date (13 December) to help practices ensure they have enough staff trained on how to manage their e-RS worklist on a daily basis.
Within the past couple of weeks multiple BHR practices have been required to declare an Significant Incident (SI) for 2WW patients and urgent referrals as they’d failed to frequently check their e-RS worklists for patient/referral updates.
It is imperative all practices monitor and manage their e-RS worklist on a daily basis.
To make sure you have enough staff who know how to do this, and your practice has good understanding of e-RS and how it works we are holding free e-RS training events, run in collaboration with NHS Digital.
The event will be aimed at referring clinicians, admin and back office staff.
Please confirm how many representatives will be attending from your practice and which training day they wish to attend, by email to Christine.stimpson@nhs.net.
As the use of e-RS is a national directive we strongly advise at least one representative per practice must attend one of the training events.
