You are invited to be involved with a research study being conducted by Royal Holloway University of London, investigating GP attitudes towards personality disorders. They have developed a pack of information for GPs to understand more about working with people with personality disorders, or personality difficulties (PD). For example, this may include some challenging behaviours GPs see on a regular basis.
In this information package they provide a background of PD, as well as some techniques and strategies which GPs may find helpful. It has been developed by a Trainee Clinical Psychologist with input from service users and colleagues experienced in working with PD. This study is being led by a Trainee Clinical Psychology under Dr Alex Fowke, Clinical Tutor & Lecturer supervision.
This research has been approved by the Research Ethics Committee at Royal Holloway University, London.
