This year, during national hate crime awareness week don’t just pick up another leaflet and forget about the numbers of people affected by hate crime in Barking and Dagenham. We’re inviting you to take part in a unique opportunity to actually practise strategies for tackling the hate speech that we all hear and don’t often know quite how to challenge.
Everyone is welcome to attend this participatory workshop on 18th October from 12-2pm at the Roundhouse in Dagenham with Arc Theatre. This workshop is aimed at members of the community and voluntary sector in Barking and Dagenham, frontline council officers and professionals working in the hospitality, transport, health and retail industries.
This session will help to develop your confidence and build the skills to tackle hate crime in a safe and direct way. Useful CPD development opportunity, lunch included. Book your place here: http://bit.ly/2fXRfsa
