The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has today published a report on the quality of the surgical service at Whipps Cross Hospital following an unannounced inspection in April 2018.
The report recognises improvements made and as a result the overall rating has been upgraded from ‘Inadequate’ to ‘Requires Improvement’.
The improvement means that now no services are rated ‘Inadequate’ overall across the whole of Whipps Cross Hospital, or indeed any of the five hospitals run by Barts Health NHS Trust.
