Key aims of the session:

Identify how the BHR Health and Care Academy's 2021-2023 plans aims to develop strong, collaborative partnerships which collectively drive improved career development opportunities for local people through 'grow our own' principles
Demonstrate how strengthened data management systems will drive improved recruitment outcomes and future-proof workforce supply chains
Demonstrate the added value of the BHR Health and Care Academy across our local partnership and share our collaborative approach to implement:

Delivery plans that aim to 'grow our own' workforce expertise - systemwide
Improved recruitment and retention workforce planning capabilities: Launching the BHR Academy: Data Management Dashboard
Increase workforce capacity through aligned virtual/F2F education and training development
National and local workforce strategies to increase primary and social care workforce capacity
Horizon scanning - National NHSE/HEE ambitions to achieve 'one workforce'

We welcome delegates from: Health, Social Care, Provider, Voluntary, 3rd Sector and Patient Representative organisations across the BHR and NEL ICS
