BHR Health and Care Academy - 23 September (1 - 3.30PM)

Key aims of the session:

  • Identify how the BHR Health and Care Academy's 2021-2023 plans aims to develop strong, collaborative partnerships which collectively drive improved career development opportunities for local people through  'grow our own' principles
  • Demonstrate how strengthened data management systems will drive improved recruitment outcomes and future-proof workforce supply chains
  • Demonstrate the added value of the BHR Health and Care Academy across our local partnership and share our collaborative approach to implement:
    • Delivery plans that aim to 'grow our own' workforce expertise - systemwide
    • Improved recruitment and retention workforce planning capabilities: Launching the BHR Academy: Data Management Dashboard
    • Increase workforce capacity through aligned virtual/F2F education and training development
    • National and local workforce strategies to increase primary and social care workforce capacity
    • Horizon scanning - National NHSE/HEE ambitions to achieve 'one workforce' 

We welcome delegates from: Health, Social Care, Provider, Voluntary, 3rd Sector and Patient Representative organisations across the BHR and NEL ICS
